SAVE FEATURE: Only one Save (position) at a time can be kept/disk. Save
your place any time by pressing the R (Record) key. Load in a Save by
pressing the Q key (Quits place whenever you Enter or leave a Town OR
enter a Dungeon. The Save feature can not be used in the Dungeons.

A little TRICK: (Thanks to Howard Rouse) Acquire MORE Elirs! Best, during
early play, but can be done at any time. Have an extra unused back-up of
the Elira disk. After cleaning out a Town of all it's Chests, Leave the
Town. Replace your current Elira disk with the unused one. Re-Enter the
Town, and it (and all others on the disk) will appear in it's original
condition. ALL of the Chests will be there AGAIN! Of course, all other
things you accomplished (unlocking Doors, etc.) will have to be done
again. EXTRA BONUS: Everything you have up to this point, outside of the
Towns (Elirs, Food, Weapons, Armour, Ships, AND group members) will STILL
be yours! Yes, group members can even be "duplicated" (I haven't done that
bit).

TRIVIA: You can Exit Town D, while on a Sky-Disk, but NOT return with it.
Sell extra items (from Combat) at Stores that sell those items to acquire
more Elirs.

Your Inventory can hold 40 items. That sounds like a lot, but after you
come-by many items an Inventory problem will occur. Normally, when you
"Get" a Chest, and it is an item (rather than Elirs), it is automatically
put into your Inventory. IF at the time, your Inventory is full (the game
reports this), that item is lost forever! If an item is dropped, it is
also LOST forever! If you wish to Drop an item, pick a Pine Torch.
Juliano can carry two items.

All Monsters outside of Towns that move toward you are dangerous - expect
COMBAT! They can move, and attack DIAGONALLY. Those in Towns are harmless,
unless you are NOTICED Stealing! Then, EVERY Guard (not any others) in a
Town will come after you! They are strong (7-9 hits with an Enchanted Bow
to ZAP each one), but can only cause damage if they are next to you. They
never have Chests.

Stealing (S key) is an Honorable Profession in the game, and you MAY get
away with it a few times - seems to be Random. You can Steal across,
counters, and even through Walls or Mountains! You'll never suffer Acid
damage or Poison when using this command (not allowed on the Combat
Screen, or in Dungeons). Once you Steal in a Town, You'll always be a
thief in that Town (even if the Elira disk is replaced with a clean one).
Stealing through a Wall ( or mountain), first do so against it, and then
one-move away from it if possible, That way you will get all you can get.

Defeating Monsters in COMBAT is the only way to gain Experience Points.
Before earning 200 EXP Pts., and Upgrading, you'll find Wolf-Dogs, Orcs,
Skeletons, Stone Giants, and Fighters. Wolf-Dogs are easy, but usually
don't have Chests. The others usually do, but are Stronger. When you touch
a dangerous Monster, a separate Combat Screen "pops-up". Your Foes (never
know how many are there until this screen appears) will be on the north
side, and you (your members now appear on-screen) will be on the south
side (about six moves apart). You, and each member have the first "shot"
or move (each member in turn "flashes" on screen). Your Foes take their
turn, and thsi "bit" repeats until someone's Victorious! Attacks by you
or your Foes sometimes miss. Combat can be rejected by Pressing the BREAK
key or moving your members off the edge of the Combat screen. There's
usually a Penalty for that - lose a carried item, half of your Elirs, or
Food! Protect a weaker member by moving him behind a stronger member, or
out of the line-of-fire. Any group member can fire thru another without
damage, and hit a Foe! Your Inventory can be used in a normal manner during
Combat. Chests that appear in the Combat Screen may be Acid or Poison.
After "Victory" is signaled, and you take any Chests there, Press the
BREAK key to return to normal play.
