FROM THE EDITOR
by Rick Cooper
It is with some degree of sadness that I announce that this is the final
issue of PCFDM. As you may remember PCFDM started out as a PC disk magazine.
I thought we had a couple of good starting issues, but it just did not draw
enough subscribers. After seeing that it was too good to just dismiss, I
decided to try making it into a CoCo publication...but, again we did not
draw enough interest. With less than 30 subscribers you can understand
that it is just not feasible to continue the effort.
I do appreciate all of you who did take the yearly subscription and hope
that you have enjoyed these four CoCo-based issues.
We do continue to do CFDM on a quarterly basis and I do hope that you will
seriously consider supporting our efforts to keep the CoCo alive by joining
the CFDM group. The subscription cost for one year is only $30. You will
receive the regular flippie disk, one bonus disk, and HARDCOPY once every
three months. We still have nearly 130 faithful subscribers and we do
propose to continue with CFDM until the year 2000 (if interest continues).
I think it would be a shame to see CoCo support cease at this time!

This Issue's Holy Scripture
And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set,
his disciples came unto him: And he opened his mouth, and taught them,
saying,
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their's is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they
shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousnes' sake: for their's
is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say
all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so
persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour,
wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to
be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
St. Matthew 5. 1-14
