COCO MAX III AND THE EMULATOR
 PERMISSION DENIED

MY COCO SYSTEM (above) by Ray Berney

In looking for a graphic for the Emulator section, I came upon this one
created by Ray Berney over a year ago. Except for not mentioning the
Emulator software by name, the idea is much the same!!

                         The CoCo Emulators

This section of PCFDM concerns the CoCo emulators of Jeff Vavasour. We
hope to have current news about Jeff's work, entries from Jeff, and input
from others concerning the emulators.
                                                         (more below)
Also, in each issue of PCFDM you will find .DSK files of the latest issues
of CFDM (and maybe other .DSK files) as space permits. These emulator .DSK
files will always be located in the DSKFILES directory which will be a sub-
directory of the issue directory. Here's what the directory tree looks
like:
          C:\ (Your main root directory.)
          C:\PCFDM (Root directory of PCFDM.)
          C:\PCFDM\V001N00x (The issue directory. Please
note that the x stands for
the issue #. This issue is
number 4, so the correct name
                                          of this directory would be:
                                          V001N004.)
          C:\PCFDM\V001N00x\DSKFILES (The .DSK files directory.)

To move the included .DSK files to your CoCo 3 Emulator directory you would
do something like this: (Assuming your CoCo 3 emulator is in the COCO3
directory.)

              COPY C:\PCFDM\V001N004\DSKFILES\*.DSK C:\COCO3

(Please note that you can also get to these .DSK files without copying them
to the emulator directory. Just use the F2 key to load your emulator disk
drives, then select the [..] from the Directory box; then highlight and
select PCFDM; then select V001N004; then select DSKFILES; and finally the
.DSK file you wish to look at.

                                                                =*
