I assure you that I've not forgotten you..but..I've been very busy this summer with my disk magazine and other CoCo business...and..with letting my part of the CoCo World know about you. Jeff> Not to worry. I just came back from my honeymoon Tuesday, and was out of the province for three weeks before that for my wedding, etc. I'm sure you can imagine that I've been keeping busy too. Rick> I hope you've been getting some feedback from the many Friends who've wanted your CoCo 2 Emulator. I'm doing my best to let folks know about your work and there is quite abit of excitment because of it. Jeff> I've received quite a number of letters regarding it actually. I'm impresed. Rick> I can't tell you everything right now..but, just today one of my Friends in Canada sent word that you have been adding features to the Emulator. That cheers my heart! Jeff> The upgrades include direct disk I/O, a file import/export utility, a few bug corrections, more flexibility with the printer settings, joystick, soundblaster support, etc. The only thing is, I'm not sure how much of this will go into the public domain version, and how much will be withheld for the registered version which should include CoCo 3 compatibility. For the CoCo 3 emulator, I'm trying to incorporate Hitachi 6309 extended instruction set support (for NitrOS-9, etc.), but documentation for that is incomplete, so I may have to scrap that idea. Rick> Well best of luck in your work and please let me know how you're doing.
